Thrift Store
The Thrift Store works to foster self-respect and
dignity for those in need by providing attractive clothing, household goods and
furniture of good quality through a voucher system or for direct purchase.
The Thrift Store is open to the general public and
offers items for all income levels. Items
not given to the needy are sold well below their retail value to support the
operation of our social service facility.
A wide variety of unique items are donated to The
Thrift Store which are new and gently used providing a nice, clean,
second-hand boutique atmosphere.

Large Furniture
Pick-Ups
We offer a limited courtesy pick-up service for large, in need furniture items such as sofas, loveseats, bedroom suites, etc. Guidelines for this service are as follows:

Pick-ups are only offered in
· You should allow up to two weeks advanced notice
· Someone needs to be home to sign the receipt
· Pick-ups are scheduled after 12:00 p.m. on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays (provided we have enough volunteer help)
· Items need to be ready for pickup in a garage or a main level prior to our arrival (we are not allowed to go in a basement or on a second floor)
· Items need to be in good condition with no rips, tears or stains and in good working condition
Items We Can Not
Take for Donation
We appreciate the generosity of our community for all donations. However, because our Clients cannot afford parts or repairs and we do not have the means to repair items, we can only accept clean, usable items that are in good working condition. Due to limited capacity and limited staffing, we are unable to accommodate yard sale leftovers. Our space is limited and unfortunately we cannot afford the costs of disposing of un-useable items. Thank you for understanding our limitations and supporting our mission of helping the needy. Thank you for caring and sharing your support is greatly valued.
We are currently not accepting the following items:
· Appliances (Built-in, Gas, or any older than 5 years)
· Baby items: cribs, car seats, walkers, swings, playpens, fold up carriers (due to liability for resale of out-of-date or recalled items)
· Bean bag chairs
· Carpeting
· Central Air/Heating units
· Combustibles/chemicals
· Computer equipment in need of repair or 3 years old or older
· Console TVs or Black and White TVs
· Construction/Building leftovers
· Encyclopedias
· Exercise Equipment
· Full size refrigerators, freezers (dorm or small one are okay)
· Large Entertainment Centers
· Left over yard sale items
· Metal desks or large wooden desks
· Metal Swing Sets
· Paint
· Snow equipment
· Stained, rusted, or jagged edged items
· Tires & rims
· Toys (limited to 2 bags in good condition)
· Unsafe items (ammunition, guns, etc.)
· Waterbeds
· Window Blinds
· Wire Hangers
